As an Operator in Special Elite Units in the US Army I was fortunate to receive the latest and greatest in Gear to help me do my job in the best way possible. With my West Point education and personality I would evaluate everything I received for its intended purpose and function. From fabrics and materials, positioning of pockets and angle/type of zippers, function and ability to weather all extremes in temperatures and environments, space - fit - and the ability to pack and use the gear to optimum advantage in day and night. I never stopped that practice when I transitioned from the Army into a Business Career.

ing and being out in Nature. It has so much to offer - challenging fitness, fresh air, beautiful landscapes and sunsets/sunrises, smells and sounds, and colors and textures that inspire. Being in Nature and the great Outdoors I have found relieves stress and focuses the mind on imagination, dreaming of what can be in the future, and living in the present - breathing fully and appreciating what is offered. Accordingly, I’ve purchased gear of all types from every major Manufacturer you can name in the Outdoor Space. I’ve tested it in all extremes of temperature and environments just as I did in the Army. I’ve documented what was great and what was not so great about all the features and functions. My Executive Business experience leading Public and Private Ventures plus my hands on practical use of Operations Research principles enables me to focus on optimizing critical variables for success. Match that with my love of fashion, fitness, and style throughout my life ends up providing a uniquely effective combination.
And then I found AMABILIS. Intrigued with the brand approach and selection of fine
and latest technology materials and fabrics for function as well as a uniquely different style, I started out as an AMABILIS Customer and quickly advanced to VIP status. Meeting the Founder, Brian Abrams, as a Business Consultant was a must because his Customer Service, communication, design expertise, and professional photography are exceptional. His love for hiking and Master Level Competitive Trail Running and Mountain Climbing made it even more compelling. His background, business experience, and journey resonated and overlapped with mine. We both wanted the brand to “Soar To New Heights”. When discussing the Strategic plans for the future, we connected on several levels. He trusted me to take the reins and I pledged to infuse new energy, innovation, and growth. I am now proud and exhilarated to be the New Owner/CEO of AMABILIS.
